Getting to Hacienda222
Before enjoying your beautiful wedding day, you must get here first! We’ve included everything you need to know about traveling to west Puerto Rico.
For most of our happy couples, getting to Hacienda222 starts with an airport.
The closest airport to Hacienda222 is Rafael Hernandez Airport (BQN) in our neighboring town of Aguadilla. This small airport is less than a 30-minute drive to Hacienda222. Not all airlines fly into BQN but is a lovely, convenient option. This airport is small enough that passengers get off the plane through a staircase attached to the plane doors. How’s that for an authentic island experience?
Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) is a larger international airport located in San Juan, about an hour and 45 minutes from Hacienda222. Most major airlines fly to San Juan.
Both airports have access to all the major car rental companies, as well as some well-reviewed local ones. You’ll also be able to find taxi and shuttle services. We encourage you to plan ahead and reserve your transportation before you travel.

You might have noticed that we did not provide addresses for the locations listed above. Addresses don’t work quite the same in Puerto Rico as on the mainland. We recommend you look up locations and follow the instructions in google maps.
On the Hacienda222
Hacienda222 is truly one-of-a-kind. We can’t wait to welcome you to this amazing space! Here are some helpful tips to know about our property before you arrive.
Hacienda222 is located on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico in the stunning coastal town of Isabela. We are about five minutes from the centuries-old town square of Isabela in a very typical Puerto Rican residential, working-class neighborhood. It is safe, but, like everywhere, we always recommend diligence and keeping valuables with you and your car locked. You’ll know you’re in the right spot, when you spot our 40-foot tower, with 360-degree views of the island.
Hacienda222 is a private facility. We are happy to schedule tours of our facility for prospective couples. Please let us know if you would like to schedule a tour! No uninvited guests or vendors are allowed on Hacienda222 at any time.
There are two bathrooms and two open outdoor shower areas within the gates.
We are fully off-the-grid, with solar panels providing electricity and a rain collection system for water. This means that we are always ready to host your event, even if the island is suffering from water or power outages.
We have two friendly rescue dogs who love to greet our guests, and then will generally leave you alone. For whatever reason, if you’d like us to put them away in advance, no problem; just let us know. Read more about the animals at Hacienda222 here.
Our events are family-friendly. No recreational drugs will be permitted, and no songs or music with illicit or offensive lyrics will be played, even by request.
Caribbean weather is pretty amazing! The average temperature in Puerto Rico only varies by 10-15 degrees throughout the year, usually staying between 80-90 degrees in our area with a cool ocean breeze.
