Greetings from the land of eternal summer. We understand some parts of the world are wearing sweaters and adding pumpkin to all of their food (and coffee). Here in Puerto Rico, we are still enjoying our warm weather and beautiful beaches.
We recently took a team outing to Crashboat pier, our favorite local scuba spot, and were reminded how fortunate we are to live and work in this beautiful paradise. Joanna even found her first seahorse!

But it’s far from all play and no work. We’ve had a busy October, with many events at our boutique event venue, Hacienda222. We’d love to share those with you!
Alexandra & Derik
“We had an amazing time. The venue is stunning”
-Alexandra & Derik
Alexandra & Derik customized our Monstera package at Hacienda222, with a guest officiant, Derik’s brother, who is a pastor. Our all-inclusive packages truly cover everything, including an experienced wedding officiant, but we are always happy to make your wedding uniquely yours.
Alexandra & Derik chose our seashell centerpieces, special to our hearts. We brought dozens of these beautiful conch shells home from vacation, after finding them in the offshore waters at a Turks & Caicos restaurant called The Conch Shack (where they are discarded after harvest). We just had to have them for our events so we loaded them up on the sailboat we were on and brought them back to PR!
The wood charger under the conch shell is made from mahogany from trees that fell during Hurricane Maria. And the flowers and greenery come from our favorite organic flower farmer, Rosita.
There is truly story and meaning behind every part of your event!
Coconut water straight from the palm tree is one of our favorite island delicacies. Alexandra & Derik chose to have a ‘coco toast’ instead of a traditional champagne toast. The delicious ‘coco frios’ (ice-cold coconuts) were cut with machete, from our beautiful Hacienda222 palms!
Jasmine & Luis
Jasmine & Luis met at church as friends and their relationship blossomed into love. With local guests from the island and loved ones from the States, Jasmine & Luis’ wedding was a blending of families and cultures.
Jasmine & Luis’ dog Cece enjoyed a place of honor as ring bearer! Click above for a video of Cece meeting our miniature donkey, Bomba. Cece was ready to be friends but Bomba was a bit skeptical. We love having canine guests at our events … Cece even went home happy with her own doggie bag of surf-n-turf scraps from her parents’ wedding dinner!
Danielle & Blake
Danielle & Blake opted for our Sea Grapes Package which included a wedding ceremony on the beach at Guajataca Tunnel with a reception to follow at Hacienda222. It’s a great option for the couple wanting a feet-in-the-sand ceremony, with farm-to-table food-and-drink in a stunning facility with a few more amenities than our deserted beaches provide!
Danielle & Blake’s friends hammed it up for the camera! Our all-inclusive celebration packages include two hours of photography to capture all of your special moments.
Sheena & Jesse
“You’re the best!”
-Sheena & Jesse
Sheena & Jesse’s crowd came mostly from Texas and Louisiana. We personalized their day by bringing that Bayou vibe!
Sheena & Jesse enjoyed a quiet moment in the lush gardens at Hacienda222. Our monstera plants thrive in our tropical environment, and our raised bed gardens provide not only an authentic and organic backdrop, but also the produce for the farm-to-table cuisine enjoyed by our guests.
Sheena, Jesse, and their guests danced the night away as their DJ played a custom playlist that had something for everyone! They even walked in to the LSU fight song!
We love welcoming people to Hacienda222 in a very personal and custom way. As we plan events, whether it be a wedding, company event, or birthday party, we love learning about our guests and what is important to them. If we can help with your next event, please contact us!
We’ve been upping our Tiktok game. Be sure to follow us at Hacienda222 and PR Weddings as we post behind-the-scenes footage, wedding and travel tips, and sneak peeks of our latest weddings.
